⇝ People with some or plenty of experience in the art field, but want to improve and challenge their talent with interesting homeworks

⇝ Designers who want to add the drawing skill to their set of skills

⇝ Those who want to have and academic overview of 'the basics of drawing' and who want to expand their creativity

COURSE CONTENT

How it works

We start each ZOOM SESSION by checking the HOMEWORK from the previous Module. Then, Flaviu takes everyone through the curricula by explaining all the basic concepts behind the process of making a good drawing and he is drawing for everybody in Photoshop, using a digital tablet or drawing straight on the paper, using a second camera. Through this process, he is showing you the exact steps that help you understand the anathomy of all shapes and forms that are around us. In the meantime, you are invited to take notes in your “holy sketchbook” and pay attention to the explanations and demonstrations. At the end of each meeting, you will have a Q&A session, so the meeting will not end until everybody has the clarifications on the subjects assigned for that Module.

THE HOMEWORK

“Practice Makes Perfect”. Every week is loaded with a number of homeworks designed to get you from a beginner state to a super artist. For each subject in the modules, there are specific tasks that has to be done by the students at home, in the days prior to each zoom session. This part of the course is hugely important! If you don’t put the hours of practice and dedication, you will go through this course like watching a show on Netflix, and that can be interesting, but it doesn’t get the results!

DRAWING MUSE EXHIBITION!

This is the moment when Drawings Muse Experience is turning into GOLD!

Now we exhibit the amount of works that we gathered during the course. Now is the moment when each student who graduated is showcasing the Masterpieces! The exhibition is a real organised as a video Premiere on Facebook and Youtube. You will be promoted, showcased and even sold ( if agreed ) by our gallery.

WHO IS FLAVIU MOLDOVAN

Flaviu Moldovan (b. 1983) is a Romanian visual artist, designer, entrepreneur and teacher, living and working in Cluj-Napoca. Flaviu Moldovan's artistic interests are among the most diverse, covering a wide range of activities in the field of drawing, design, painting, photography and mediums that use the image as a communication tool. Flaviu is also the founder of Plankton Gallery and teacher at Plankton Academy, where he teaches a series of painting, drawing and design courses. He also has a great deal of experience into the corporate world, having the pleasure to work with the biggest brands out there such as Coca Cola, Mccann Erickson, HP, Microfocus, Betfair, BDO, Electric Castle and many more.

Currently he is hosting Plankton MiXArt Show, the podcast that is bringing together music and visual art, into an online video format.

Plankton Gallery opened in 2017 in Cluj-Napoca. Initiated by the artist Flaviu Moldovan, Plankton Gallery works both as a promotion and an experiment platform for Cluj artists, combining the educational activity (short courses) with workshops.
